Dewey Carpentier

Dewey T. Carpentier age 62, of Hillsdale, Michigan passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Community Health Center of Branch County.  He was born on September 2, 1954 in Battle Creek, the son of Thomas & Betty (Seivert) Carpentier.  Dewey lived in Battle Creek most of his life before moving to Hillsdale, Michigan.  He was an avid sports fan, especially watching wrestling on TV, going to the casino, and traveling to many places to enjoy a good meal.  Dewey was preceded in death by his parents; Thomas Carpentier & Betty Marsh, life companion; Barbara Crail and granddaughter; Taylor Renee Faith Carpentier.  Surviving are a son; Thomas Carpentier of Athens, Michigan, daughter; Angela (Scottie) Carpentier McGuire of Salyersville, Kentucky, sisters; Sparky (Mark) Kenworthy of Marshall, Michigan, Linda Stevens of Battle Creek, grandsons; Jaden Carpentier, Thomas Carpentier, Caleb Carpentier, and many nieces and nephews.  Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Reese Cemetery, Pastor Douglas Fleury officiating.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.  Arrangements by the Richard A.
