Debra Kay Farrington

Debra Kay Farrington, age 62, of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Rose Arbor Place in Kalamazoo.  She was born on September 10, 1961 in Battle Creek, the daughter of William and Geraldine (Terrell) Farrington.  Debra graduated from Lakeview High School in 1979.  She previously lived in Texas, Florida, and later returned back to Battle Creek.  Debra was employed as a properties manager for Walden Pond Condominiums in Marshall and Florida for fifteen years.  Debra was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church.  Her interests included shopping, sunbathing, going to the beach, but most of all she loved spending time and making memories with her son, Parker.   She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Farrington in 1998, and her father, William Farrington in 2012.   She is survived by her son, Parker Farrington of Battle Creek, mother, Geraldine Farrington of Battle Creek, sister, Kathy (Ron) Armstrong of Jones, Michigan, brother, Tom Barrus of Marshall, and many special friends.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services with a Recitation of The Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.   A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the funeral home.  Private inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.   Memorial contributions in Debra’s memory may be made to the American Liver Foundation, PO Box 299, West Orange, NJ   07052, envelopes available at the funeral home.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
