David Michael (Mike) Hinchman—6 August 1963-18 March 2020
Commonly known as Mike, he was born at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA, and at 7 months of age, won honorable mention in a baby contest sponsored by the local paper, Spokane Daily Chronicle. He passed at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital after 12 years of illness. He resided most of his life in Athens, MI, graduating from Athens High School in 1981 with a certificate in Data Processing from the CACC (formerly Vo-Ed). He loved comics and reading, playing board and computer games, sci-fi films and tv, watching sports, especially football, and sharing those with others. He is survived by parents Charles and Elizabeth (Webster) Hinchman, sister Christine Hinchman, aunts Kathryn (Webster) Fryar and Mary (Webster) Collins and Uncle David Webster, and many cousins and other relations. He was preceded by maternal grandparents Leon and Olive (Woodmansee) Webster, and paternal grandparents Glenn and Mildred (Hosmer) Hinchman, uncle James Hinchman, Aunt Jean (Hinchman) Butcher and cousin Beth Butcher. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be set at a future date.
