Eaton Rapids

David Michael Langston "Proud Marine", age 60, of Eaton Rapids, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, under the compassionate care of the VA Hospice in Battle Creek, Michigan and the loving care of his family. He is survived by his sisters: Laura Overton and Tina “Tot” Treacher, his fiancé Laura Bortell and his best friend Doug Henley. A very special thanks to his niece Angel Masters, Aunt Deb Henderson, and brother-in-law Chuckie Webb for giving him so much comfort and love in the last week of his life. David held on for his sister “Tot” to give his last “I love you” as he squeezed her hand, while his sister Laura in Arkansas called to give her "love you and go in peace". David had a strong faith in the Lord, and he loved his family and friends with his whole heart. He was preceded in death by his parents Ramona Fay and Jerry Lee Langston. David was a Master Gardener and designed many amazing landscapes. He enjoyed making people laugh, fishing, cooking for others and Rock 'n Roll. A graveside service with full military honors will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery.  A Celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends and will be posted via Facebook. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services. www.henryfuneralhome.org
