David Fettes

David G. Fettes, 72, of Union City passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019. He was born December 27, 1946 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Hector MacDonald and Maxine C. (Mead) Fettes. He was a 1964 graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Dave worked at the Kellogg Company for 27 years retiring in May of 1996. He enjoyed playing golf, was a lifetime bowler and especially loved to watch his children and grandchildren’s sporting events. On October 10, 1992 he was married to Sondra (Weeks) who survives. Dave is also survived by two sons: Travis (Kristi) Fettes of Battle Creek and Davis Fettes of East Lansing; four grandchildren: Treyvan Fettes, Greyson Fettes, Taynan Anderson and Haylee Fettes; one great-grandson: Zaiden Kellie-Sims. Dave was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jim Fettes; two sons: Tony and Tyler Fettes and a granddaughter Ashley Melson. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
