Darlene Moore

Darlene “Dar” J. Moore, age 72, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born April 21, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Earl Alfred and Helen Marie (Patterson) Perry. Dar had worked at the Eaton Corporation for 20 years and retired from the Kellogg Company where she had worked for over 15 years. She enjoyed spending summers at Sandy Pines with her nieces and nephews and their friends. Dar is survived by five brothers and sisters: Terry (Lois) Perry, Judy (Sam) Castanier, Diane (Tom) Robertson, Ken Perry and Patrick Perry as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Robert and John Perry. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and a Wake will be held at the Robins Nest, 16181 10 Mile Road, Battle Creek on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 beginning at 3:00 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society.
