Dannie Adams

Dannie P. Adams, age 76, of Battle Creek, passed away on November 12, 2019.  Dannie graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1961 and was a lifelong area resident.  He was formerly employed by Eaton manufacturing, Nabisco, Michigan Carton Company, Car Quest, and was self employed as a painter.  Dannie loved classic cars and automobiles and was exceptionally proud of his highly modified 1973 Chevy pick up truck.  He enjoyed working in his yard, the outdoors, and was an avid reader.  Dannie was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving are his daughter; Amy C. Adams of Destin, FL., Brother; Kenwood Adams of Battle Creek, sister; Nancy Pratt of Jackson, MI., girlfriend; Cristina McKee, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.    Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Colon, Michigan.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
