Daniel Bentz

Daniel A. Bentz, 55, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away Tuesday August 23, 2022.  He was born March 22, 1967 in Dayton, OH.  He was the fourth son of Frederick and Martha Bentz.

Dan graduated from Lakeview High School in Battle Creek in 1985.  He was employed as a production associate at Lotte USA from 1990 until 1997.

He was a compassionate person that did not hesitate to share a hug with a relative and/or friend and tell them that he loved them.  Dan enjoyed going out to eat with friends or family, watching Ohio State football, the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Lions, and listening to music.  He especially enjoyed family gatherings and was always quick to lend a helping hand when needed.  Dan was also a huge animal lover.

He is survived by his parents, Frederick and Martha “Lou” Bentz, brothers Larry (Lorrie), Steve (Shelly), David (Justine) and Jim (Angie), several nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all the individuals who reached out and helped Dan when he needed assistance.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date to be determined to honor Dan.
