Dale Lynn Burgett 62, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at home in the loving arms of family. Dale was born September 7, 1961 to Lee and Carol (Goos) Burgett in Battle Creek. Dale was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek. Dale graduated in 1979 from Lakeview High School. Graduated from Kellogg Community College associate degree cum laude general study and welding. Dale worked in his youth as a paper boy for many years for the Battle Creek Enquirer, Burger King at the age16 and Mr. Steak during high school. As a welder Dale worked at Shaes Automotive and Camelot Motors. Advanced associate in Jodon quality control at Denso Manufacturing where he currently worked for 38 years with almost perfect attendance. Dale enjoyed weightlifting competitively winning many competitions benching #500. Bowling at Nottke’s Bowling and bowled a 297 while on league. He was an avid hunter, loved the outdoors with family and friends, chopping wood and traveling. Dale was dedicated, hardworking man with a large heart “Hero” to most, he would help anyone. Dale was a gift to the world and one in a million. On September 17, 1988 Dale married the love of his life, Jill Campbell at First Weslyn Church in Battle Creek, MI. Dale was a member of New Hope Apostolic Church. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jill, his son, Levi (Danielle) Burgett of Parma, MI., brothers; Randy (Tammie) Burgett of Climax, MI., James (Trish) Burgett of Mesquite, NV., father-in-law, Roy Campbell of Mecosta, MI., brother-in-law, Jeff (Chris) Campbell. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Ron Boling and Pastor Lisa Fulton officiating.
