Cynthia Ullrich

Cynthia M.  Ullrich, Age 62, Of Battle Creek, Died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at home. Cynthia was born on March 18, 1953, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Richard H. and Eleanor (Benner) Ullrich. She was a 1971 graduate of Lakeview High School. Cynthia lived in South Carolina and Virginia before moving back to Battle Creek in 1994. She was employed in retail sales, the Café Can Do in Battle Creek and volunteered at the Humane Society. She enjoyed reading, gardening, music, Tap Dancing and spending time with family and friends. Surviving is her mother, Eleanor Ullrich; a sister, Deb (Dick) Hastings and a brother, Rick Ullrich; a step-daughter, Joanna Hawkins and a step-son, Matt Hawkins; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and special friends Ann,  Mike and Tamara. She was preceded in death by her father. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., prior to the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
