Cora Martin

Cora Belle Martin, age 83, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Heartland of Battle Creek. She was born May 10, 1937 in Bellevue, Michigan the daughter of Ralph and Ellen (Jaquay) Martin. Cora was a 1953 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. She was a wonderful caregiver and homemaker for her family. Cora liked country music, playing Bingo and puzzles of all types, going out to dinner and shopping. She also enjoyed the Breakfast Club at Springview Towers. Cora is survived by nine nieces and nephews: Robert Martin, Janine Shiga, Sherry Connell, Chris McKee, Maurice Sager, Rodney Sanders, Christopher Martin, Todd Martin and Kimberley Jankowski, and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Barbara Martin Sager and Anna Sanders, and two brothers: Ralph “Sonny” Martin, Jr. and Fredrick Martin. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
