Clara Tooley

Clara J. Tooley, age 92, of Albion, Michigan, passed away on July 17, 2019 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on April 23, 1927 in Charlotte, Michigan, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (Brooks) Butler.  Clara was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Charlotte High School.  She was a home maker, who enjoyed knitting, sewing, cross-stitch, rock collecting, grooming dogs and had a love for animals.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Tooley in 2018.  She is survived by her children; Sandy Marks of Albion, Sam Tooley of Parma, Richard Tooley of Springport, Cheryl Davey of Albion, Cecile Tooley of Battle Creek, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
