Christine Gerring

Christine Mach Gerring, age 59, of Battle Creek and formerly of Watervliet, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born January 18, 1955 in St. Joseph, Michigan the daughter of George Robert and Carolyn Jean (DeMorrow) Mach. Chris is survived by her son: Aaron W. Gerring of Garland, Texas; mother, Carolyn J. Mach of Battle Creek; two brothers and two sisters: Bill (Vicki) Mach of Hartford, Beth (Bill) Miller of Plymouth, Indiana, Debbie (Joe) Worden of Battle Creek and Jeff (Brenda) Mach of Benton Harbor; sister-in-law, Cheri Mach of Defiance, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Frank Mach. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
