Chris Allen Waggoner

Chris Allen Waggoner, age 62, of Ceresco, MI. passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2025 at his residence. He was born on October 19, 1962, in Battle Creek, the son of James and Joan (Porter) Waggoner. Chris was a lifelong area resident. He graduated in 1980 from Pennfield High School, then went on to Spring Arbor College. He previous was employed as a substitute teacher, Wolohan Lumber, K-Mart, and was in quality control at Trans Continental Packaging for over 25 years. Chris enjoyed reading, camping, skiing, and was an avid MSU fan. He also enjoyed spending time and creating memories with his family. Chris was preceded in death by his father, and a stepson, Daniel Davidson. Surviving are his son, Seth (Karlee Kulp) Waggoner of Portage, MI., mother, Joan Waggoner of Battle Creek, sister, Dee Waggoner of Battle Creek, niece, Lorna (Tommy) DeSha of Garrison, TX., great nephew, Jase DeSha and great niece, Kaylee DeShay of Garrison, TX., and several cousins. Funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Ken Smeader of the Emmett Street Missionary Church officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
