Cheryl Clemmons

Cheryl Christine Clemmons, age 70, of Battle Creek, passed away on January 20, 2023 at Glenn Arbor Place.  She was born on September 4, 1952 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of John B. and Alda (Looney) Clemmons Jr.  Cheryl resided in Washinton D.C. until 1962, in which she moved to Battle Creek Michigan with her family.  Cheryl graduated in 1970 from Lakeview High School, and received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Michigan in 1974.  She worked as a pharmacist at the Battle Creek Sam’s Club for over 20 years prior to her retirement.  Cheryl was a member of  Order of Eastern Star #471.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafting, and taking cruises.  Cheryl was an avid sports fan, especially University of Michigan!  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Surviving are a brother, John B. (Rachael) Clemmons III of Kokomo, IN., beloved nieces; Melissa (Josh) Kee of Rhineyville, KY., and Christina Clemmons of Vine Grove, KY.  Funeral service scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment to take place at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Order of Eastern Star #471.  Memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
