Charles Hewitt

Charles Dean Hewitt, age 58 of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15,2020 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He was born February 6, 1962 to David L. and Helen M. Hewitt. Charles was born and raised in Battle Creek and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. Upon graduation he worked in the janitorial field and later worked at the Roma Café and the Griffin Grill and Pub as a busboy and dishwasher. His interests related to camping, going to Cedar Point, family gatherings and watching old movies and shows. He liked to make people laugh and was a loving and caring person who loved to be with family and friends. Going out to eat and getting coffee with friends were done frequently. He also liked to play games with his family and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Alvin and David Hewitt. He is survived by two sisters: Sharon (Randy) Thom and Linda Hewitt; his niece: Heather (Tim) Waterson; two grandnieces: Ella and Adeline; his nephew: Aaron (Mindy) Whiting and grandnephews: Elijah, Ethan and Eliot, and his girlfriend of 37 years, Sherry Wallace.
