Charles L. Dudgeon

 Charles (Chuck) L Dudgeon, 65, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on September 24, 2024, at home with loving family by his side. Chuck was born in Battle Creek to Charles and Barbara Dudgeon on April 9, 1959. He Graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1977 then attended Kellogg Community College for 2 years. After school Chuck worked under his father at Cello-Foil Products in Battle Creek. Chuck then went on to start his own gunsmithing business, C.L. Dudgeon Armorer. Aside from gunsmithing, Chuck was an avid motorcycle enthusiast owning and working on many dirt bikes and road bikes, mainly Harley Davidson’s. Chuck’s more artistic side included drawing and airbrushing. In the evenings he could often be found reading in his living room. He enjoyed spending time and exchanging stories with his lifelong friends Robert Erard and Tom Bennett. Chuck would admit to others that his greatest accomplishment in life was raising his son and watching him go on to be an aspiring business owner himself. Anyone that has come to know Chuck over the years would vouch that he had an iron spirit that could never be broken. Chuck is survived by his son Charles (Emily) Dudgeon Jr of Battle Creek; Siblings Curtis Dudgeon of Lake City, Florida and Sister Zoe Stager of Battle Creek; Along with many cousins. Chuck is preceded in Death by parents, Charles and Barabra Dudgeon.  A celebration of life will be held by Chuck’s son at a later time.
