Catherine "Jean" McMillan

Catherine “Jean” McMillan, age 93 of Battle Creek, died Sunday, January 21, 2024, at The Oaks at NorthPointe Woods. Catherine was born September 16, 1930, in McClure, Illinois the daughter of Samuel and Wanda (Blankenship) Hardin. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church who loved reading, collecting cardinals and antique dishes. She was a great fan of the Battle Creek baseball clubs…Battle Cats, Yankees, Devil Rays and Bombers, and was a member of the booster club. Catherine is survived by her son Ronald A. McMillan, daughter-in-law Harriet McMillan, three grandchildren: Michael Jason McMillan, Robert James McMillan and Lacey Elizabeth McMillan, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. McMillan in 1988, a granddaughter Michele McMillan and son Michael G. McMillan. A graveside service will be held at Hicks Cemetery in the spring.
