Carolyn Zellers

Carolyn May Zellers, age 91, of Newport, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 4, 2015 at her home.  She was born January 10, 1923 in Battle Creek, Michigan and was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, her son William, and her daughter Carol Bauer.  She is survived by her son James, her daughter Jane Roiter, 12 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. She retired from the state of Michigan as a secretary and in 1988 she became a Florida resident and a volunteer pink lady.  She relocated to Newport, Tennessee with family and has resided there for 12 years.  She was a member of Lincoln Ave. Baptist church and enjoyed music, playing piano, and was a member of the Garden Club. Visitation for family & friends will be Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Richard A.
