Carl Boyer

Passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. Carl was born on December 15, 1928, in Lansing, MI, the son of Carl and Mildred (Leonard) Boyer. He had been a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Marshall High School and Argubright Business College.  He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army.  In 1949, he was united in marriage to the former Donna J. Lewis who preceded him in death in 2018. He owned B and B Printing from 1955 to 1990. Carl retired from the business in 1987 then moved to Thompsonville, MI, before returning to Battle Creek in 2000.  Carl enjoyed crafts, building models, painting, drawing, karate, reading, was a health enthusiast and being with his family.  Surviving are sons, James C. (Cheryl) Boyer and Lorne G. (Courtney) Boyer; daughters, Tami (Tom Ughetti) Boyer and Saundra (Darrell) Bell; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Wally and Leonard; a sister, Onadine and a special friend, Joe Medich. Carl will be interred with his wife privately at Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall.
