C. Hamlin

C. Audrey Hamlin, age 93, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Verona Adult Foster Care Center. She was born August 1, 1922 in Kalkaska, Michigan the daughter of Clarence and Blanche (King) Morrison. Audrey attended Lakeview High School, worked at the H.B. Sherman Manufacturing Company for 7 years and retired from Cello Foil after 28 years of service. She is survived by her daughter: Colleen (Eugene) Hamp of Richland, Texas; son: Kenneth (Connie) Hamlin of McMillan, Michigan; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth P. Hamlin on December 4, 2001; three sisters: Evay Martens, Wenona Mellin and Wanda Wolfe; and two brothers: Ovid and Vale Morrison. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Faith United Methodist Church, 833 First Street, Edmore, Michigan with Rev. Carl Cecil officiating.
