Brian Sigourney

Brian K. Sigourney, age 53, of Battle Creek and formerly of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He was born May 22, 1963 in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Howard Edward and Marilyn Louise (Tatro) Sigourney. Brian was a 1981 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and had most recently worked at the Walmart Distribution Center in Coldwater for over 10 years. He loved to have his family over for cookouts and pontoon rides, enjoyed fishing and auto racing, and was an all-around mechanic and handyman. Brian is survived by his son: Brian L. Sigourney of Coldwater; two step-daughters: Melissa and Tasha Gibson; three step-sons: Robert, Joe and Brad Tillitson; three sisters: Carol Carter, Debbie (Dennis) Quick and Brenda (Tim) VanDorsten; six nieces and nephews: Jason (Shauna) Quick, Sarah (Brett) Bortz, Amy (Kevin Pancoft) Quick, Jill (Tyler) Bays, Kristy (AJ) Gonzalez and Brittany Carter; several great nieces and nephews and former wives: Lori Gibson and Shirley Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the service and a private interment will be held at a later date.
