Joan Moulds passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born May 14, 1933, in Sherwood, MI, the only daughter of Willet L. and Faye E. (Obenour) Whitmore. She married Phillip R. Moulds on March 27, 1954 in Battle Creek and had three children; Susan, Jeannie and Mark Moulds. Joan had several jobs throughout her life besides being a loving, caring and supporting daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked hard to take care of her family as well as working multiple different jobs throughout her lifetime including, Allman’s Pastry Shop, Battle Creek Enquirer, Dudley School and Meijer. Grandma really enjoyed baking, cooking, decorating for holidays, and especially being with her family. She is survived by her children, Susan (Moulds) Williams, Mark Moulds and step-daughter, Sherry Hardesty; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, Sierra, Blake, Mattison, Jade, Joy and Cason. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Phillip Moulds and her daughter, Jeannie (Moulds) Badger. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Following the graveside service there will be a gathering at Canal Street Cafe in Augusta, MI. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, The Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. www.henryfuneralhome.org
