Beverly Anne Goddard

Passed on Monday, January 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. Beverly was born on July 8, 1931, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Carl W. and Maebelle Leona (Strole) Harmon, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Bellevue Schools.  She married John W. Goddard, Jr., on November 30, 1947, he preceded her in death in 2018. Beverly was employed at Allen Harmon Insurance Agency for 32 years, worked with her husband at legion Supper Club and Goddes Bakery.  She was a member of the First Congregational church for over 75 years. Surviving is a daughter, Cindy Goddard of Augusta; granddaughter, Tammy (Andrew) Koziol of Battle Creek; great granddaughters, Hanah and Jessica Cassel and great great granddaughter, Julianna and great great grandson, Haasani; a brother, Jerry Harmon; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Rick Goddard, a sister, Barbara Downs and a brother, Carl Harmon, Jr. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m.,  Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the First Congregational Church, Battle Creek. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
