Beulah Whipple

Beulah M. Whipple, age 92, of Battle Creek, entered into the presence of her Savior on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Bronson at Home Hospice Residence surrounded by her family. She was born December 21, 1922 in Fort Worth, Texas the daughter of Elmer Dale and Cleo Verba (Gregory) Brown. Mrs. Whipple attended Calvary Baptist Church, enjoyed flower gardening, watching the birds and her pets. On March 30, 1946 Beulah married Leroy D. Whipple in Angola, Indiana and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1997. She was also preceded by two brothers: Roy and Jim Thomas. Surviving are her three children: Sandra (David) VanDorsten of Battle Creek, Janis (Frederick) Trumble of Plainwell and Mike (Amy) Whipple of Oviedo, Florida; thirteen grandchildren and niece: Linda (Tom) Hicks of Battle Creek. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. today, March 22, 2015 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas C. Townsend officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. www.henryfuneralhome.org
