Betty J. Tungate, Age 76, Of Battle Creek, Died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Bronson Battle Creek. Betty was born on September 28, 1936, in Albion, MI, the daughter of Tony and Marie (Russell) Buscaino. She had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was employed with Cut Rate from 1967 to 1985, Fifth Third Bank from 1986 to 1996 and then with Wal-Mart Super Center from 1997 until her retirement in 2011. She was a current member of the Overflow Church, a former member of the First Wesleyan Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, unit 0298. Betty enjoyed rubber stamping, arts and crafts, flowers and bird watching. Surviving are children, Jacqueline Brown of Battle Creek, and Steven( April) Crane of Nashville, MI; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy “Dot” Sadger of Albion, MI, and a brother James Buscaino of Baldwin, MI; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons, Rick Fox in 1998, Robert Fox in 2012 and a sister, Lillian Girard. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. A private inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
