Betty Mcdonald

Betty Jo McDonald, Age 85, Of Battle Creek, Died Sunday, July 17, 2016. Betty was born on November 7, 1930 in Middletown, OH, the daughter of Leaborn and Tressie (Jones) Barker, Sr. She had been a lifelong resident of the area and attended Battle Creek Central High School. She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church and enjoyed reading and being with family and friends. Surviving is a granddaughter, Tracy (Eric Sparks) Shroyer-Cain; Grandsons, Joshua (Jesica Castleberry) Cain and Bobby Cain all of Battle Creek; great grandchildren, Emalee, Kailey, Ryleigh Shroyer, Mason Sparks, Ashlynn and Avery Cain, Karina Allen-Cain. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lee Cain and a brother, Leaborn Barker, Jr.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016, at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens chapel with The Rev.
