Betty Lewis

Betty Lou Lewis, Age 72, Of East Leroy, Michigan,  Died Sunday, May 6, 2012, in East Leroy. Betty was born on July 7, 1939, in Battle Creek, the daughter of William Navis and Bertha May (Nelson) Gordon. She had been a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1958. On August 7, 1958 she was united in marriage to Frank Lewis who survives. Betty was employed at K-Mart and retired in 1998. She enjoyed going to the casino. Surviving are children, Scott (Wendy) Lewis of East Leroy and Sherry (Terry) Milnes of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sisters, Nancy (Don) Coburn of Vicksburg, Shirley Hoskins of Battle Creek and Mary (Robert) Saxman of Bellevue. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Lewis on October 7, 2008. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
