Bessie Hall

Bessie M. Hall, Age 96, Of Battle Creek, Died Monday, May 23, 2016, at Care Community. Bessie was born on June 11, 1919, in Charlotte, MI, the daughter of Wallace and Bessie (Long) Augustine. Bessie was one of the first graduates of the Kellogg Community College Nursing program. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, crafts, cooking and baking. She is survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. A special nephew and caregiver, Rick (Kera) Buchanan; special friends, Janet Middaugh and Angie Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, George, Albert, Oscar, Merle and James Augustine; sisters, Jean Berry, Clara Miller, Mary West and Anne Dodge; special friends, Arthur Smith and Jenny Worthington. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2016, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
