Bernadine Van Geison

Passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, in Battle Creek. She was born on February 8, 1927, in Hamburg, IN, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Cord) Nobbe. She married Donald Van Geison on May 10, 1952, who survives. Also surviving is her son, David (Wendy) Van Geison, a daughter, Lynne (Steven) Culver; grandsons, Peter Van Geison, Joseph (Keisha) Van Geison, Jacob (Sarah) Culver, Alexander (Meredith) Culver and Michael Culver. Bernie was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Mary Ann, two sisters and six brothers. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or St. Vincent DePaul Society. www.henryfuneralhome.org
