Bernadine Norton

Bernadine D. Norton, age 94, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on March 5, 2019.  She was born on October 21, 1924 in Marshall, Michigan, the daughter of Rutledge (Harlow)& Lois Enos.  Bernie graduated from Marshall High School and was formerly employed by the Kellogg Company in both clerical and packaging, but was most known for her excellent homemaking skills.  She enjoyed gardening of all types, bird watching and spending time with her family. She was an avid watcher of CNN, HSN enthusiast and Wheel of Fortune guru.  She was first united in marriage to Earl Fredenburg in May 1946, then married Dean Norton in March 1966 who both preceded her in death. Surviving are her children; Jackie (Frank) Ruggiero of Plymouth, MA., Brenda (John) Smith of Battle Creek, Martin (Janet) Fredenburg of Battle Creek, Sheila (Don) Jones of Battle Creek, Jill (Brad) Cornell of Augusta, three step-children, Patricia Homan, Harold Norton and Kirk Norton, eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.  Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the  Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with a luncheon at the funeral home to follow at 1:00 p.m.  Committal services will take place at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Memorial Park Cemetery chapel.
