Beatrice Ellen Hueckel, age 53, passed away unexpectedly at home in Battle Creek on August 14, 2024. She was born on August 7, 1971, in Jackson, Michigan. She was the daughter of Patricia (Lloyd Farmer) McCarthy and Robert Madden. Beatrice was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek and attended Battle Creek Central High School. Her passion for hospitality shone through her career as the General Manager at the Hampton Inn in Battle Creek. Beyond her professional life Beatrice led a rich fulfilling life filled with many interests. She was an avid pool player and a valued member of the APA Pool League. Her exceptional skills in pool took her to Nationals in Las Vegas. Apart from pool, she found solace in watching movies, reading, and most of all, in creating cherished memories with her beloved grandchildren. The memory of Beatrice will forever be cherished by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Hueckel, two sons Steven (Amanda) Hueckel II, Matthew (Allie)Hueckel, and seven grandchildren Matthew, Nicholas, Alana, Alyssa, Natalie, Lillieanne, and Matthew Jr. She also leaves behind her mother, Patricia (Lloyd) Farmer, her father, Robert (Mel) Madden, grandmother, Ruth Hallock, her beloved sister, Heather (Steve Hadley) Phillips, brothers Robbie (Christy) Madden, Ryan (Sara) Madden, Russell Madden, and Donald Hueckel. Beatrice will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, many of whom she helped raise and called her own Jordan Davenport, Jeffrey Lee, Tricia Phillips, Ashly Scott, Tiffany Joseph and Amanda Burke, and so many others that called her Aunt Bea. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, James Hallock, Aunt Nancy Perry, and grandchildren Aran and Scarlett Hueckel. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Richard A.Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
