Beatrice Rose Buehler, Age 95, Of Battle Creek, Died Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. Beatrice was born on October 5, 1917, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Charles and Blanche (Kanaga) Brogan. Beatrice graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1936. She attended Argubright School of Business then worked for the Battle Creek School system as a librarian and dietician for twenty two years. Beatrice married Otto A. Buehler in 1941. She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church, was a member of the Women’s League of Battle Creek and a Red Hat Society Member. Beatrice volunteered at the Battle Creek Health Systems. She enjoyed theater and concerts and her many friendships. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband Otto A. Buehler and a son Brian L. Buehler. She is survived by a son, Stephen L. Buehler; grandsons, Vincent L. (Linda) Buehler, Eric D. Buehler both of Battle Creek; great grandchildren, Chad Perkins, Mike Perkins and Jessie Campbell all of Battle Creek; great great grandchildren, Lilly, Bella and Emma Campbell all of Battle Creek. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2012, at the funeral home with The Rev. Bruce Kintigh officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Altrusa International of Battle Creek or The American Cancer Society. www.henryfuneralhome.org
