Barbara Warren

Barbara  Lee Warren, Age 83, Of Climax, Formerly of Battle Creek, Died Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. Barbara was born on February 5, 1930, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of E. Lee and Laura (Brandall) Fleming. She had been a lifelong area resident graduating from St. Philip High School in 1947. On June 5, 1950, she was united in marriage to Ellwyn S. Warren who survives. Barbara was employed with Prudential Insurance Company, MED PC, Dr. Nesbitt’s office and Dr. Breneman’s Clinic in Galesburg. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a Blue Bird Leader, Room Mother and a member of AARP. Barbara enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed painting, reading and really enjoyed friends, playing cards, baking cookies for all her family and loved the times she spent at the cabin up-north. Surviving are children, Bruce (Pamela) Warren of Bath, MI, Ruth (Al) Cruce of Wyoming, MI, Michael (Patty) Warren of Battle Creek, Donna (John) McGlashen of Battle Creek, Lee (Shannon) Warren of Coldwater, MI and Dale (Jan) Warren of Phoenix, AZ; 10 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild; sister, Lola(Lewis) Bashaw of Portage, MI, and a brother, Stanley (Cheryl) Chubinski; 6 nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 5 to 7:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013, at the funeral home with The Rev. Robert F.
