Barbara J. Price, age 83, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at Moore’s Assisted Living. She was born November 1, 1931 in Blytheville, Arkansas the daughter of Michael D. and Nellie E. (Hutcheson) Price. Barbara loved to read, travel and spend time with her granddaughters. She was a WWII history aficionado and wrote several articles for Reminisce Magazine. Prior to her retirement, Barbara had worked at the Federal Center in Battle Creek and most recently the Tank Command Center in Warren. She is survived by her daughter: Linda (Ed) Bokhart of Wyoming, Michigan; son: Thomas (Penny) Campbell of Battle Creek; three granddaughters: Laura (Henry) Lopacki of Plainfield, Illinois, Caitlin and Carlee Campbell both of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters: JoAnn (David) Baker of Concord, California and Carolyn Garnes of Battle Creek; many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Ray, Jim, Jack and Carl Price, and her former husband Robert Neil Campbell. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
