Audra Joan Camera, age 82, of Battle Creek, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Evergreen Senior Care Center. She was born December 27, 1931 in Eckford Township, Calhoun, County, MI, the daughter of John Sherman and Malinda Ellen (Houlton) Patton. She resided in Marshall, MI, Battle Creek, MI and Chicago, IL. A graduate of Marshall High School, May 1950, she excelled in Gregg Shorthand skills (80 words a minute-with manual typewriter). Audra married Peter R. Zaccagnini on January 20, 1953 in Battle Creek. Audra then moved to the Chicago area where she worked for Mr. Brennet under Mr. Walgreens II at Walgreens Company from 1961 to 1991. Audra then married Mr. Camera in 1987. She was a member of the American Legion #298 since 2006. She enjoyed playing cards especially Euchre and Acey Duecy, golf and bingo. Surviving is her only daughter: Ms. Helaine Kay Goetz of Pesotum, IL; son-in-law, Dr. Thomas E. Goetz; one grandchild, Joseph Rosco Goetz; five great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, one great great grandchild in Ohio, one verbally adopted daughter from Helaine Kay Goetz from high school days to present, Mrs. Pamela (Babb) Weinstein of Florida. Audra was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Martha (Patton) Hiat, Helen Irene (Patton) Banks, Vernon Deloss Patton, Orville Patton, William Jink Patton, Betty Jean (Patton) Bosserd, Melvin Charles Patton, Mildred Elaine Patton, Alice Arlene (Patton) Hynes, John Jr. Patton and Marian Bess (Patton) Owen.
