Ann M. Harris, age 86, of Battle Creek, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at The Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. She was born June 14, 1929 in Marshall, Michigan the daughter of Harry H. and Cora (Enger) Berge. Ann was a 1946 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and had worked at the Lakewood Inn, SomePlace Else and Stouffer’s Restaurant from where she retired. Ann then went to work at the Omni Community Credit Union for 10 years. In 1949 Ann married Glen Harris and they were married for 17 years and had two children, she then married Lee Mrozinski in 1972. Ann is survived her son: Glen E. (Diane) Harris and daughter: Brenda (Jeffery) Sopchak both of Battle Creek; four grandchildren: Chad and Kyle Harris, Elyse Sopchak and Evan (Kaitlin) Sopchak; sister-in-law: Jean Berge of Battle Creek; special friend: Jerry White; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters: Cara Nairn, Hazel Waltz, Lucile Loye, Barbara Johnson and Evelyn Nogrady; and two brothers: Richard and Kenneth Berge. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Robert L. Zuhl officiating.
