Alvin Hewitt

Alvin A. Hewitt, Age 57, Of Battle Creek, Died Monday, June 6, 2016. Alvin was born on January 9, 1959, in Battle Creek, the son of David L. and Helen (Ossman) Hewitt. He had been a lifelong resident of the area. Alvin worked at various restaurants in the area and also in the laundry department at the VA Medical Center. He enjoyed playing dominoes, movies, bowling, going out to eat and getting together with his family and friends. Surviving is a brother, Charles D. Hewitt and his sisters, Sharon (Randy) Thom and Linda Hewitt. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Edward Hewitt. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3 to 5:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2016, at the funeral home.
