Alice W. Hallack, age 75, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born May 15, 1943 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Loren and Ellen Mae (Bruch) Donham. Alice was a 1962 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and earned an Associate Degree from Kellogg Community College. She had worked at Southwest Michigan Rehabilitation for many years and retired as a medical transcriptionist. For over thirty years, Alice was a member of Leroy Congregational Church. She loved to knit and sew and watch Detroit Tigers Baseball. Alice is survived by her daughter: Linda (James) Henry of Battle Creek; two step-grandchildren; one sister: Nancy Gossner of Battle Creek; a sister-in-law: Linda Hallack of Augusta; four nieces and nephews: Anne, Bernadette, John and Bill; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Laura Donham and twin sisters Jane and Julia. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. A private interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to The Charitable Union, Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or the Humane Society of South Central Michigan. www.henryfuneralhome.org
