Gail Lewis

Gail L. Lewis, age 63, Of Battle Creek, Died Monday, February 17, 2014, at Borgess Medical Center. Gail was born on July 22, 1950, in Battle Creek, the daughter of William and Mary V. (Eaton) Midlam. She had been a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Harper Creek High School in 1968. On September 4, 1981, she was united in marriage to Larry L. Lewis, Jr., who survives. Gail was employed with the Kellogg Company for 23 years until her retirement. She attended the First Congregational Church, was a member of the Battle Creek Corvette Club for 12 years, loved gardening and her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Jeff Miller of Battle Creek, Kacey Nomland of La Crosse, WI, Jodi Lewis of Maryland and Tracy Goodale of Battle Creek; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; a sister, Carol LaPlante and special friend, Dujuana “Duey” Schroeder. She was preceded in death by a son, William Paul Miller; a brother, William Midlam and a sister, Lois Byrd. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8:00 p.m., and Friday from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Morgan Cemetery.
